Monthly Wrap-Up: October 2010

In October the slump attacked. No reviews, very little books. I am officially burnt out. I want to blog yet I have nothing.

I can feel a change coming though and I will be detailing that change in a post very soon and it's all thanks to a book. So hopefully we will see some reviews this coming month because the pile is getting very large and I do want to review them all.

My Favourite book for the month would have to be: Lucifer's Daughter by Eve Langlais (that was really hard this month, shout out's go to the Laurell K Hamilton books)

In October I read 6 books.
  • Guilty Pleasures - Laurell K. Hamilton
  • The Laughing Corpse - Laurell K. Hamilton
  • Circus of the Damned - Laurell K. Hamilton
  • Lucifer's Daughter - Eve Langlais
  • Darkborn - Alison Sinclair
  • Their One and Only - Trista Ann Michales
  •
I Did Not Finish 2 books:
    • The Host by Stephenie Meyer
    • Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice

    I reviewed 0 books  :"[

I joined my first tour this month! The Random Magic Halloween Tour 2010! it was so exciting and so much fun!

November's Goal: stick to it! gyming, blogging reading and find a way out of the slump!

My Shelfari TBR Pile at the start of the month was 1,040 At the end of the month it is 1,040 - no change...

My physical TBR pile took another hit this month, we're down to 37 now after 41 last month.

Random Magic Tour 2010: Prizes Reminder!

It's the first of the month! Usually it would be time for a monthly wrap-up but today I am going to give you a reminder...

For the Random Magic Tour Giveaway!

There is both an International Prize and a US Only Prize up for grabs and I am so jealous of whoever wins!

The US only prize is so cute!
I am going to get one of these dolls for myself! Aren't they absolutely gorgeous?!

And the seond prize which is international! is you're very own First Edition print signed copy of Random Magic! In your own beautifully wrapped personal package!

Summary: When absent-minded Professor Random misplaces the main character from Alice in Wonderland, young Henry Witherspoon must book-jump to fetch Alice before chaos theory kicks in and the world vanishes. Along the way he meets Winnie Flapjack, a wit-cracking doodle witch with nothing to her name but a magic feather and a plan. Such as it is. Henry and Winnie brave the Dark Queen, whatwolves, pirates, Struths, and fluttersmoths, Priscilla and Charybdis, obnoxiously cheerful vampires, Baron Samedi, a nine-dimensional cat, and one perpetually inebriated Muse to rescue Alice and save the world by tea time.

The deadline for the competition is Tuesday 2nd of November EST (that will be Noon Wednesday for the Aussies!) and there is some oportunities for extra entries (yeay!) including spreading the word through twitter and making a blog post!

    So good luck everyone!
