Droolworthy Covers: Faefever by Karen Marie Moning

I love this cover so much! It's so beautiful, the colours, the silouette completely draws you back into the story, as soon as I saw it I had to have it and revisit Macs story.

I love all of the Fever series covers...but its a toss up between this one and Darkfever as to which one I like the most.

Do you have a favourite?

Droolworthy Covers: One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost

Isn't it puurrrty!! I would very much like to eat it, or print out a picture and just sleep next to it...while I wait...August 30 just seems sooo far away.

The model has changed though and Jeaniene has put that down to the old model no longer doing book covers (couldn't she have just waited 4 more books?)

But anyway, I like this new model too...she has long hair :D

Droolworthy Covers: Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

Yeay! They've released the cover for Bloodlines! This is apparently the final (so far).

I will be honest and say that it doesn't do a heap for me, but in saying that neither did the later Vampire Academy books either. But whatever, I can't wait for this to come out! Ms. Mead you are a genius!

Droolworthy Covers: Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

Last Sacrifice. The last chance we will get to debate over whether this is Rose or Lissa. I reckon it's Lissa personally as the image of Rose is firmly planted in my head from book one.

Yet considering that I also have a pretty firm image of Lissa in my head from books 2&3

It leaves me wondering who it is intended to be.

I still reckon it's Lissa though.

Droolworthy Covers: Random Magic by Sasha Soren

I love this cover! And it is very very suitable to the character of Winnie. Also I reckon it's a good idea to finally write this post seeing as the Random Magic Halloween Tour is currently running.

And why do I love this cover so much?

Nicole Kidman is on the cover!

I'm sorry, but you can't tell me that's not her. Every one at my work who has seen me reading this book has commented on it being her on the cover.

Yeay!

Last Stop: Crazy Town

Methinks that I may have finally cracked...why you ask? Because I own all of the Vampire Academy books in paperback, but in my eagerness to get my hands on the fifth book I bought it in Hardcover (I hate Hardcover books) now I want the paperback.

Why is this such a problem? Because I already own two harcover copies and a paperback would cost about as much as one of those in Australia to get the paperback...

But I can't stand that they don't all match...

Yes, I have officially checked into crazy town.

Same goes for the Anita Blake series, not as bad but still a little bit sad...see I have what I call the torture version

Which wasn't even what I really wanted, but now i have grown to love them. I got them from Book Depository some months ago and when i pottered back yesterday to get the next few books I couldn't find any torture device covers...

Only these:

Which was the original version that I wanted...but now if i get these...they won't match.

Yes, it's finally official...I have lost my marbles.

Droolworthy Covers: Bitten: Dangerous Girls & The Taste of Night by R.L Stine

This cover is absolutely stunning! And I reckon the chick on the front kind of resembles Jessica from True Blood.

What do you think?

Droolworthy Covers: Through Her Eyes by Jennifer Archer

I really like this cover...when I first looked at it though...I thought: Far out, how could anyone think that is attractive.

What am I on about? The eyeliner.

Yeah sure, big eyes. Emphasise the eyes. Bring out the colour.

But this is just...eww in my books.

This is for teens. yes?

We want teens to think that's pretty?

I thought that was pretty when I was fourteen...but I just don't have the eyes for eyeliner...it looks weird on me.

But that just detracts from the whole cover by making her look like a sixteen year old who is trying to sneak into a uni party.

Gorgeous cover otherwise...but the eyeliner....

Droolworthy Covers: Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers

Isn't it gorgeous? I don't know which one will be available to me, but I really, really like this one! The first thing I thought about this cover though was....True Blood. The chick doesn't resemble anyone but look at the two guys...

<< Luc from Personal Demons

    Luke from True Blood >>

<< Gabe from Personal Demons

 Jason from True Blood >>

Now, I am not saying this is a bad thing (because it's inevitable that someone will take it that way) all I'm saying is that, that's what I thought when I first saw it. I think it's a gorgeous cover. Can't wait to read it.

My Two Cents: The worst reason not to read a book...EVER

Feet on the cover.

*shudders*

I hate feet, any feet. The only feet I don't hate are my cats feet, because they are paws and don't count.

This might be the most awesome book in the world, but I will never ever read it because it will mean having to touch the feet on the front.

Some say this is the most awesome book in the world...I almost feel bad that I am missing out.

And then comes it's sequel which brought on this post, because it reminded me of the former and how I reacted to it. I will admit though, this one isn't nearly as bad as the first two pictures I posted, probably because you can't really see the toes.

I hate toes.

I hate the freaky long toes (you know the ones) that are longer than the big toe. I hate the big toe altogether because it just looks weird, especially when people have meaty toes and the nail looks too small...or they have ingrowns...ewwww.

I hate looking at feet, hate touching them, even this post is making me grossed out. And I hate when people touch my feet.

My boyfriend often calls me weird because I have come close to kicking him in the head when he went near my feet.

I have given someone a concussion after holding me down and tickling my feet.

That is how much I hate feet.

I even hate the word feet.

I don't know where it came from, but my disgust with feet comes close to my fear of spiders (only spiders are way more evil).

So yes, now you know a little bit more about how weird I am and also why unfortunately I will never read the above books, or most books with feet on them.

Droolworthy Covers: Aquamarine by Alice Hoffman

This is really more of another Celebrity spotted post...who was it this week?
JoJo

The one on the right (red head) looks a lot like Jojo in my opinion.

And the one on the other side looks like Claire Holt from the Australian tv show about mermaids, H2O: Just Add Water.

or Emma Roberts...

And then I just googled the movie I remembered about a mermaid and I was right!! But I think it's a bit of a cop-out to use the actresses in the movie on the cover of the book. I prefer covers to be unique, not movie replicas, which is why I will not by the new Twilight versions.

Droolworthy Covers: The Other Side of the Island by Allegra Goodman

This isn't so much a Droolworthy Cover as it is a Celebrity spotted. Although the cover is really nice.

For all of the Home & Away fans out there....do you think that the girl looks like Rabbit?

I reckon it does...

Droolworthy Covers: The Karma Club by Jessica Brody

This one is more of a comparison rather than a droolworthy cover, but both covers are both beautiful anyway.

This is the American Version

And here is the International Version.

I love the International version because of the vibrant hippy style colours but I think I would prefer the US version. I don't really know why, it just appeals to me more.

Which do you prefer?

Droolworthy Covers: Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick

I wasn't going to jump on the bandwagon for this one, but seeing as I do have a meme for it, may as well.

And you have to admit, it is really pretty. And now I'm uber excited for the release!!!

Droolworthy Covers: Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning

The first time i saw this cover i knew i had to have it, to be perfectly honest i had passed up the other cover for this book a million times, but it was this cover that caught my eye.
