Everyone’s life is governed by an internal code of conduct. Some call it morality. Others call it religion. But Bros in the know call this Holy Grail the Bro Code.
Historically a spoken tradition passed from one generation to the next, the official code of conduct for Bros appears here in its published form for the first time ever. By upholding the tenets of this sacred and legendary document, any dude can learn to achieve Bro-dom.

About Barney, By Barney
Barney Stinson is a handsome and available Renaissance man best known for blowing up the blogosphere with www.barneysblog.com. Barney plays 83 different musical instruments, holds the record for the most weight ever calf-pressed, has flown a fighter jet around the world blindfolded, ranks first in the world in laser tag and good looks, invented that chariot thing for crippled dogs, and currently serves on the board of a Fortune 500 company, which is why he probably won’t answer your calls.
My Thoughts:
You really need to have a sense of humour to read this. I personally loved this book, because I also watch the show associated, I’m not plugging so if you know what show I’m talking about...yeah that one.
Anyone who does watch aforementioned unnameable show will know who Barney is and how funny he is, and this book reflects his character personality perfectly.
It’s sexist, chauvinistic, idiotic, completely fake, and absolutely hilarious.
I think the scariest part about this book is its accuracy; there are quite a few rules in this book that I know men follow, some unconsciously.
And for those that just can’t get enough of Barney’s voice, he narrated the audio version.
I gave this book two ratings. The five was for those who watch the show and love Barney as much as I do. The three was for general readers, if you have a chance to read it, read it.
So that averages it out at a four. Which I think it definitely deserves.

I'd been considering getting this book because I think Barney is absolutely hilarious on the show, but if he narrates the audio version that might be even better!
Thanks for the great review, I'm definitely going to buy this now (in one form or the other). :)
(And I just noticed we have the same blogoversary!)
I haven't watched HIMYM, but this "Bro Code" book sounds hilarious...perhaps a great birthday gift for my own bro? Great Review!
I love me some Barney! Maybe it's time to check the Bro Code. Thanks for the review!
